Already lined up for the August concours are the debuts of Morgan’s new EvaGT and Ferrari’s 599 roadster , with notable auction lots including the 1959 Le Mans-winning Ferrari 250 TdF and a famous 1927 Benz owned by the Marx Brothers . The latter will be part of Gooding & Company’ s auction, but that’s far from the extent of what the venerable auction house has in store for Monterey this year.

Ferrari 458 Italia 2010 Supercar Run at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010

Although the supercar runs are not officially timed, the Ferraris reached the finish line in less than 1 minute, with the 458 Italia completing the 1.16 mile course in an astonishing 54 seconds, nearly 3 seconds quicker than most F1 cars from the 1970s, and the California accomplished an equally impressive time of 57 seconds.
