The Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario is built in a limited series of just 100 units. One of these has been crashed in Hong Kong, but the accident is not so severe.
The accident happened during a test drive and the car was virtually new as it still had the plastic wrap on the passenger seat. The road conditions were bad and obviously the slippery surface and the not coordinated speed caused the crash. Still, everybody is OK and the car can be repaired.
As a reminder, the LP 720-4 50 Anniversario is powered by a 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 with 720HP (529 kW) mated to an ISR gearbox. 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). The price is around $800,000 (6 million HKD).
