Maserati Dazzles the Music Industry at The 2014 Barclaycard Mercury PrizeOn Wednesday night luxury Italian automotive manufacturer, Maserati, drove Britain’s hottest music industry talent to the Barclaycard Mercury Prize Awards show at London’s Roundhouse.

Maserati was named ‘Official Supplier’ to the Barclaycard Mercury Prize in September when 12 British albums were shortlisted for the prestigious title.

As part of Maserati’s role as Official Supplier, the luxury Italian car maker drove short-listed artists, Barclaycard Mercury Prize judges and music industry VIPs to the Awards Show at the Roundhouse in Camden in a fleet of Quattroporte and Ghibli models, as well as becoming the first ever non-headline sponsor to appear on the coveted sponsors’ boards.

Peter Denton, Region Manager, Maserati North Europe, said “Maserati is celebrating a landmark year in 2014 with the brand’s centenary, the launch of the all-new Ghibli model and record sales both in the UK and across the globe. With a similar attitude towards striving for excellence, be it in automotive or music terms, we have been delighted to partner with the Barclaycard Mercury Prize.”

The winner of the 2014 Barclaycard Mercury Prize Album of the Year 2014 is Young Fathers with their album titled ‘Dead’.
