P4/5 Competizione Ferrari-powered Nurburgring lap record

the Ferrari P4/5 Competizione have claimed the model has achieved a new record at the famous circuit – Nurburgring. This happened during qualifying for the Nurburgring 24 Hours race that was completed over the weekend.

It completed a lap of Green Hell in 6 minutes 51 seconds under the expert skills of James Glickenhaus which beats the Ferrari-powered record originally set by the 599 FXX by seven seconds.

The race car then went on to finish the race in 12 position and became the first ever hybrid to successfully complete the race. Ahead of them, Audi took the race honors with overall victory which you can read about in our previous report here.

The P4/5 Competizione is based on the Ferrari F430 Scuderia and was uniquely created by Pinifarina.
