Leading British tennis player Andy Murrary is showing that his rise to the top end of the World rankings has clearly had a nice effect on his earnings, as he has just purchased a F430 model. Having recently passed his test, Murray bought the super cool car and then had to pay out almost Ј100,000 on insurance to cover himself to drive it. This is pretty much the same price that he will have paid for the car, but it just goes to show that he can afford it!
Young drivers always have to pay more than any other age group for their motors insurance, simply due to the reputation that they are a little more care-free on the road. Murray’s new car, featuring a 4.3L V8 engine can hit a top speed of around 196mph and the British AA reportedly contacted over 20 insurers to get a quote to cover the young sportsman.
