Facebook: on.fb.me Twitter: twitter.com I have filmed one of the very first Ferrari F12 Berlinetta driving on track! Video shows a couple of loud full throttle accelerations, fly bys and loud downshifts, even a few slow drive bys where you can admire the design of the car.

This video is recorded in Brescia in connection with the sealing of Mille Miglia cars.

Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso says his team enjoy the unpredictability of “difficult” races, after winning the Malaysian Grand Prix in rainy conditions. The Spaniard admits Ferrari have had a “tough time” lately and his victory early on in the championship will boost the team. Alonso jokes that people should have put money on him as he became the surprise winner after holding off Sauber’s Sergio Perez.

The car is based on the framework and engine of the Ferrari 458 Italia but features numerous design changes to tweak it back to an appearance of Ferraris of old including the 512 Boxer and the headlights from the Enzo. The car had originally planned to be a 12 cyclinder version but clearly this was too much to ask and as such it seems to run the V8 and controls of the normal car.
